Ka’m-t’em Celebration and Community Reception
The Ka’m-t’em Celebration and Community Reception was held at Humboldt State University on May 11th to celebrate the launch of the book. Nearly all of the book authors (24/27) and the Ka’m’t’em Youth Photography Project members traveled from various locations in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and California to attend the event. In addition, 350 community members from local tribes, agencies, and the University gathered to participate in author presentations, book signing, and refreshments.

Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA) Social Policy Publication Award Nominee:
Ka’m-te’m: A Journey Toward Healing has been nominated for the Social Policy Publication Award through the Society for Research on Adolescence. This award is granted to a publication that clearly articulates the implications of the research for a social policy issue, such that policy problems are clarified and/or solutions are illustrated.
